Home Support Workers

Shylo Home Healthcare is currently looking for Home Support Workers to work with clients in Burnaby, Vancouver and the North Shore – FT & PT positions available immediately. We expect all HSWs whom we hire to commit to the client, and this agency, for a minimum of six months and be available to work weekends as well as weekdays.

Shylo offers a full complement of home care services and has been providing quality in-home health care services to residents of the Vancouver Lower Mainland since 1980. Our team of local Nurses and CHWs is committed to providing superior care to the citizens in our community; the majority of our clients are on The North Shore, but we also provide service to residents of Vancouver and Burnaby.

Home Support Workers work under the direction of a Shylo Nursing Supervisor following an individual Care Plan to provide home support services to our clients • assist clients with the Activities of Daily Living within varied settings to promote maximum independence • observe and document on client’s health condition and environment, report significant and unsafe observations and provide support and guidance as well as input and feedback in the care planning process. • Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate and BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registration number is required • At least one to two years of recent experience is an asset • Clean BCDL and vehicle are not required for this position, but they are helpful • Email or Fax your resume today •
