On Thursday May 6, BC Care Providers Association and SafeCare BC will be hosting a Lunch and Learn session with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) on Screening for COVID-19: Using Rapid Tests in Continuing Care Settings.

Moderated by Mike Klassen, Vice President, Public Affairs, BC Care Providers Association, this session will be an opportunity to hear directly from public health officials on how rapid testing can be used as an effective COVID-19 screening tool in long-term care and assisted living, and how interested operators can get involved. In addition, this panel session will provide a chance to hear about the experiences of two care operators who have already implemented rapid testing and are seeing the benefits for their staff and residents.
